Players at an Edmonton, Alberta bingo hall now have the opportunity to tipple whilst they play their favourite game.
The Fort Road Club succesfully applied for a liquor licence and is the first bingo venue to start selling alcoholic refreshments to its customers.
John Wanless, general manager of the venue has said that he is encouaged by the positive results he has witnessed so far, “We need to offer our players more,” he said. “The bottom line is that we are at a competitive disadvantage and there’s so much competition for … entertainment.”
Parkway Bingo’s manager, Susan Moore has stated that she will be watching closely to see how the Fort Road Club performs.
