Former EastEnders stars Barbara Windsor and Larry Lamb have been reunited on screen for the first time since leaving the soap. The pair, who played husband and wife Peggy and Archie Mitchell, are starring in an advert together in support of Comic Relief.

Lamb asks Windsor: “Have you missed me?”, before she covers his face with a cream cake, topped with a Comic Relief red nose.

Jackpotjoy bingo has launched  its latest comical television advertisement campaign in the 'Queen of Bingo' series. This week the advert will be shown on our televisions and will be running until the 18th March to run alongside the famous annual TV Comic Relief Charity fund-raising events. The adverts show Barbara Windsor (Queen of Bingo) throwing cream pies at surprise celebrity visitors.

A spokesman for the gaming company claimed that the Queen of Bingo-themed television advertising campaign has been very rewarding for the company. Barbara Windsor is a household name watched by millions in the BBC soap EastEnders and other high profile roles. Previous adverts included the Bingo Royale and Jack’s Chest campaigns.

The 'Queen of Bingo' is set to give five other celebrity friends the cream cake treatment in upcoming adverts.
